Most people I see are a bit nervous the first time, and plenty have never had anything done before. Ask me every question you've got, and if a treatment won't do what you're hoping for, I'll tell you.
My nursing background
Emergency nursing
I spent four years in emergency, and I've kept the habit of taking a proper history first, even when you've only come in for one small thing. It's also where I learned to stay calm and act quickly if something doesn't go to plan.
Cosmetic nursing
I moved into cosmetic nursing over three years ago. I'd seen how often people left appointments feeling rushed, or unsure what had been done to them, and I wanted to run mine differently.
Having my own clinic means nobody sets me sales targets or books me back to back, and the follow-up after a treatment is with me too.
Dermatology nursing
Dermatology came next. It's four days of my week now, and I'm studying it at postgraduate level as well. That changes the order I do things in. I look at your skin as it is before we talk about anything you'd like to change.
Some of what people bring to a cosmetic appointment is a dermatology question. When it is, I'll say so and tell you who to see.

Malvern, Thursdays and Saturdays
Sculpt by Nurses is at Ground Floor, 1 Como Street, Malvern VIC 3144, two minutes' walk from Malvern Station. Clinic hours are 10am to 5pm, by appointment.
It's a private room, so it's just the two of us for the whole appointment.
