Aftercare

Triple Action Peel aftercare

Your skin will peel. That is the treatment working. The whole job over the next week is to let it happen without interfering.

Today

Tight, warm, and a windburned look.

Days 2-3

Peeling starts.

Days 3-4

Peeling peaks. This is the day it looks worst, and it is meant to.

Days 5-7

Peeling finishes.

Today

1
No sunscreen today, so stay out of the sun completely. Shade, a hat and sunglasses are your cover for now.
2
No showering or bathing for 24 hours - shower from the neck down. Cleanse with lukewarm water and clean hands only, never a washcloth.
3
Plain moisturiser as often as your skin asks for it. Nothing active, nothing new, and no makeup.
4
No exercise, saunas, or anything that makes you overheat.
After today

What happens next

From 24 hours
Gentle cleanser and plain moisturiser. Exercise is fine again.
From 72 hours
Sunscreen goes back on, every morning and reapplied every two hours outdoors. Keep covering up until then.
Once peeling has finished, and not before 1 week
Retinol, vitamin C, AHAs, BHAs and scrubs. Bring them back one at a time.
Makeup too - over flaking skin it drags, and will not sit well anyway.
From 2 weeks
Waxing, hair removal, facials and microdermabrasion.
From 4 weeks
Another peel, laser, or microneedling.
